About Carnegie Brokerage Agency, Inc. History
From 1989 until 1996, Carnegie Brokerage was a small group
general agent for Community Mutual Insurance Company (known
today as
Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield). In 1993, Carnegie
became a general agent for Anthem Individual and is proud to
still offer their individual products 17 years later.
In 1997 Carnegie Brokerage became a Royal Advantage broker for
Medical Mutual of Ohio for groups of one or more. In 2000, when
Medical Mutual debuted SuperMed One, Carnegie was able to offer
another quality individual product to brokers. In our 13th year
as a Royal Advantage Broker, Carnegie continues to enjoy a strong
relationship with Medical Mutual.
Early in 2000 Nationwide Insurance Company appointed Carnegie
as a general agent for their Individual MyHealth plan product
and in January 2004 the Nationwide Security Health plan for groups
size 2-50. Carnegie Brokerage is happy to offer another quality
carrier in the small group market.
Today
Carnegie continues to have a strong presence in the broker community
with a network of over 1700 brokers. We value our broker relationships
and strive to offer the best service and support every day. For
over 21 years, we have stayed true to our goal of bringing integrity,
professionalism and experience to our role as general agent.
